Nature Conservancy Tours
April 20 at 9:00am: Join Rana Bates, horticulturalist, and facilities manager and Grace Kenney, environmentalist at Slate School for a tour of our 40-acre conservation land. The tour will meander through a native stand of white pines, across dry and wet meadow, around a pond, and hug the woodland border. We will discuss the various ecosystems found throughout our conservation land and share the ways in which we care for and interact with these spaces. We will also examine how the landscape proper works to mimic and assist the native flora and fauna.
Important Dates
