Our Beloved Community

Nothing great was ever created by one person alone. The community of Slate School has been developing since long before the first shovel dug ground at 124 Mansfield Road. From the more than 200 conversations initiated by our Founder to the tens of thousands of views for the Idea Lab, Slate School has been growing a community. Our neighbor partners and our Advisory Council scattered across the globe all contribute to our efforts to educate excellently, while honoring the individuality of every learner. Our remarkable children and their consistently supportive and creative families are at the heart of our work. After all, what are we without community?
